Callaway X Forged Irons

Sunday, May 16, 2010

Following feedback they received from their staff of tour players, Callaway went back to the drawing board and decided to refine their already potent line of Callaway X Forged irons. Callaway has long been known as a leader in the industry when it comes to creating some of the finest drivers in golf starting as far back as when they were still making them with hickory shafts.

The new line of Callaway X Forged irons is designed for the mid to low handicap player to help them develop a precision drive to tear up the course and cut a few more strokes off their game. These clubs still maintain the clean, simple lines that Callaway is famous for which is a big hit with traditional players. They feature a thin topline, short blade length and a narrow sole that give a workable advantage to the experienced player.

The Callaway X Forged irons use the Flighted CG design and Progressive Dual Notch Weighing is designed to create maximum distance control and long trajectories giving you the ultimate in performance with every club in the set, which was as the top of the list of changes the tour players wanted to see in their irons.

The new Callaway X Forged irons are built using 1020 carbon steel that is used to give the elite and tour level players unparalleled performance with incredibly soft feel and response at impact. Using tour inspired head design provides extra bounce and camber to maximize their versatility in a variety of course conditions.

Overall the black and metal look is very stylish and the satin finished 1020 carbon steel used has created what may become one of the hottest new irons on the course this year. If you are already shooting in the mid 70s to low 80s this set of irons may be just what you need to keep you shooting under par on your favorite course.
